Nuclear Legacy

The Arkansas Coalition of Marshallese has been working on projects like storytelling, canoe-building project, social art impacts, and local artists to share the Marshallese Nuclear legacy. We are thankful for the culturally appropriate and collaborative partnerships with the RMI Consulate General Arkansas, Crystal Bridges, creator Kholoud Sawaf and Obed Lamy, and mama Neisen Laukon, Rikaki (Pastor) Liton Beasa, Shine Benkim, and Stephanie Takamaru. We would like to thank the many memories that were shared by survivors and descendants of survivors. Let’s continue to reflect and have these important conversations. Check out some of the pictures and videos that have transformed our lives and created pathways for better access to resources. We invite and ask researchers, scholars, and professionals to think about their impact on the collective. Are you really doing this for us, the indigenous collective? Why and how do you think this will benefit us more than it will you?
