What is the Marshallese ENRÃ Food Pantry about?
The meaning of ENRÃ. Enra is a woven food dish shared among villagers, so no one is left hungry.
Amidst the Struggles of Food Insecurity, a nourishing feast is woven, binding the villagers in a tapestry of compassion and love. In this sacred dish we call enrA, lies the essence of togetherness and the sustenance of community. As we embark on this journey of caring for one another, we extend our hands in sharing the gift of food. Our island's culinary secrets are yours to discover. Thanks to our generous donors' blessings and our volunteers' tireless efforts, the Marshallese ENRÃ Food Pantry continues to serve the NWA community. In partnership with the RMI Arkansas Consulate office, Arvest Bank Million meals, Seeds That Feed and NWA Food BAnk, we strive to extend this nourishing embrace to people living here. Amidst the turmoil of the COVID-19 pandemic, the steadfast commitment of John Kure Calep and our supporters has aided countless families through the food pantry.
